State-Level Record Searches for Syracuse

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services keeps the official criminal history database. This is the only source for fingerprint-based rap sheets. You have to go through an authorized IdentoGO location to get your own record. The fee is between $50 and $65, and results come by mail in 7 to 10 business days. Third-party websites do not have access to this data.

The Office of Court Administration runs a Criminal History Record Search for $95 per name. It is name-based, not fingerprint-based. You need an exact match on name and date of birth. Sealed records will not appear. This search covers courts across the state, so it picks up cases from Syracuse and everywhere else in New York.

For pending cases with future court dates, WebCrims offers free guest access. Enter at least three letters of the last name and two of the first. It shows active cases only. Closed cases, warrants, and sealed matters are not included.
