Arrest records come through FOIL requests. FOIL is the Freedom of Information Law, Article 6 of the Public Officers Law. Write out your request and send it to the Records Access Officer. Include the person's full name, the date of the arrest if you know it, and any report or case numbers. The office has five business days to respond. Copies are $0.25 per page. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

All FOIL requests in Chenango County go in writing. You can send them by mail, drop them off in person, or email them if the office accepts it.
